That curiosity led me to study biochemistry, where I became fascinated by fermentation, transformation, and the science of what’s possible. Eventually, that passion found its home in wine.Over the past nine years, I’ve worked as a winemaker across British Columbia and California, learning the nuances of terroir, scale, and style. I’ve crafted 500-case ultra-premium wines with tight-knit cellar teams, and managed high-volume, 500,000-case production lines with complex logistics and demanding timelines. Whether on a bottling line moving at full speed or in a vineyard at sunrise, I’ve always believed in blending precision with instinct—and never losing sight of the story behind the wine.Today, through House of Ra Consulting, I help wineries bring their vision to life—whether that means launching a new label, reviving a struggling vintage, or scaling up to meet growing demand.
